Midnight Run

The Midnight Run serves the homeless in New York City, providing food, clothing and blankets to those who live on

the streets. PCKM makes a trip into the city once a month.

This mission has never been about charity and always about Social Justice. The goal of the mission is to forge a bond

between housed and homeless people. Volunteers come to see homeless people as individual human beings, while

men and women living on the streets see that mainstream adults and truly care about their wellbeing. According to

the group's website: "human exchange, rather than the exchange of goods, is the essence of the Midnight Run

mission."

Volunteers are needed to prepare soup, sandwiches, boiled eggs, to pack meals, and to go on the run to deliver the

food and clothing.
